Amir Nezamdoost was selected as one of three finalists to be awarded the Young Lighter of the Year 2017 at Lux Live Exhibition in London on November 2017.
The Young Lighter of the Year is hold every year by The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), and Society of Light and Lighting (SLL). In 2017, the jury selected three studies (papers) as finalists:
- Seren Dincel – City Lighting in Scandinavia – Design Approach and Methodology
- Matt Hanbury – Ultra-Thin Surface Light Sources: Picking up where OLED stalled
- Amir Nezamdoost – A Case Study: Life Cycle Analyses, Annual Daylight and Energy Impacts of Manual and Automated Blinds
